Design and layout for a school textbook for the CAPE Geography Unit 1 examination in Caribbean secondary schools (equivalent to A-level), produced for Caribbean Educational Publishers, based in Trinidad. I also designed and created more than 400 artworks, including cartography. The first volume, for CAPE Geography Unit 2 (2013–14), contains more than 300 artworks.
The design and layout, as well as style and colour scheme for the artworks and page layout, were carefully considered and consistently applied throughout both volumes to make the subject visually appealing to the age group. The artworks range from simple spider diagrams, graphs and tables through to highly complex explanatory illustrations. The typography was carefully devised and hierarchically styled in order to keep the clarity of information throughout this complex textbook.
Thanks for all the hard work done so far, this book is far superior to the other competing books.
